Get the most out of your visit!

Entrance to the Exhibition is free. Hot and cold drinks are available on request. Our volunteer guides are here to help you so please feel free to ask them questions about the area that the Exhibition is in, the Exhibition itself, the history of the Romans, and our claim to being the site of the Battle of Watling Street.

Opening Times

We normally open the Centre every Saturday between 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

We are closed from November – March

We will also open especially for School and Group bookings.

Roman Mancetter

The Roman Mancetter Exhibition and Project was set up by Atherstone Civic Society in 2019. It is a Not-for-profit Exhibition that we feel is of National importance as it claims to be the site of a famous fort and very close to the site of the Battle of Watling Street.
